Ian had his first Pinewood Derby! Unfortunately, we spend much more time on design than on functionality.

*cough* Sick

We are having a terrible time getting past a lingering sickness in our family. All three kids are sick with various symptoms (fever, abdominal cramps, vomiting, diahrrea). Ian and Keighly have each missed almost a week of school. Everytime we think they are well we send them back to school and end up getting a call about them throwing up. At one point we had gone to school to pick up a sick Ian, and while we were waiting by the principals office Emily threw up all over the place. Janet's dad is also sick. I hope we get past this soon.

Carnival: Formal Pics

All over the ship there are photographers ready to take pictures of you. As you walk by, they will say "Pretty lady, photograph? Free to take!" Yes, they are free to take. The next day they are developed and available for purchase. After a couple hundred dollars, we were "free to take"ed out.

Our last day on the cruise was filled with bagpipe workshops for me, while Janet went to some disembarkment reviews and started packing us up. The day ended with a great Beatles review called "Ticket To Ride" by the Carnival dancers, and a very funny comedian Tim Harkleroad.
